Celebration of 8th International Day of Yoga 2022 - Event organised in Huaca Pucllana

Theme of the event under the umbrella of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Vishwa Guru Bharat.

As part of celebration of 8th International Day of Yoga (IDY) under the umbrella of AmritMahotsav celebrations, Embassy of India, Lima organised a event in an iconic venue, Huaca Pucllana, in Miraflores in Lima, Peru. The event was among several events organised by the Embassy to celebrate the 8th International Day of Yoga. Dignitaries, Yoga enthusiasts, practitioners, experts, participated in the event. The Yoga professionals demonstrated the benefits of practicing Yoga and invited people to embrace Yoga for mental and physical wellbeing. The event upheld the spirit of Yoga for Humanity, which is the theme for the celebration of International Day of Yoga for 2022. It gained a lot of traction among locals and helped in raising of awareness about Yoga. Photos have been also uploaded on social media handles, which helped in further promotion of the event.
