Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings from the Embassy of India in Peru
As you know, the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) is India's main trade promotion agency, established by the Ministry of Commerce of the Government of India in 1965. In its efforts to boost India's international trade, the FIEO organizes various large-scale trade promotion activities and events, both in India and around the world.
We would like to inform you that the FIEO, in collaboration with the Association of Plastics Manufacturers of India (AIPMA), is organizing a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meeting (RBSM) during Plastiworld India, which will be held from March 23 to 25, 2026, at the JIO World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event aims to create a specialized sourcing platform to connect buyers and sellers from various sectors, both from India and abroad.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
The global plastics trade is valued at approximately US$1.3 trillion, with India's share of exports at around US$12.5 billion, representing approximately 1.1% of the global total. The primary objective of this event is to solidify India's position as a global sourcing hub for plastic products. PLASTIWORLD is a strategic initiative to connect with buyers from the world's leading importing countries and showcase the diverse range of Indian products. Given the growing need for alternatives to traditional manufacturing centers, PLASTIWORLD will demonstrate India's potential as a dynamic, reliable, and sustainable option for the global sourcing of finished plastic products.
The event aims to connect Indian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with overseas buyers, purchasing agencies in India, purchasing agents, and e-commerce professionals, facilitating B2B meetings that will drive new export opportunities and strengthen global business relationships.
The 2026 edition of PLASTIWORLD will bring together more than 225 Indian exhibitors, mostly registered manufacturers and exporters, showcasing a wide range of products, including:
• Household goods, kitchenware, and tableware
• Home decor and gift items
• Toys, stationery, and writing instruments
• Plastic home furnishings
• Floor coverings
• Footwear
• Packaging materials
• Garbage bags, shopping bags, and polyethylene bags
• Tarpaulins, ropes, and covers
• Gardening products, planters, and garden furniture
• Building materials
• Eyeglass frames and sunglasses
